Your involvement in our community and participation in programming is essential sustaining a community of support, kinship and visibility. Throughout the experience of volunteering as a community educator or peer supporter, participants will complete training and mentorship requirements building their transferable skills as well as strengthening their cultural knowledge and connections. Each individual participates in training and is supported by experienced educators and knowledge keepers who will help each individual understand the importance of creating and holding safe spaces for sharing knowledge, experiences, and cultural teachings.
