Our Impact

At the Red Deer Native Friendship Society, we’re proud to create positive change in our community. Through our programs and projects, we’ve supported youth mentorship, housing assistance, employment readiness, and cultural workshops that celebrate Indigenous traditions.

We’ve provided critical resources, safe spaces for healing, and opportunities for learning and growth. From helping families to amplifying Indigenous voices, our work is driven by a commitment to meet community needs with care and respect.

Every program and partnership reflects our dedication to building a stronger, more connected community. Together, we’re making a lasting impact.

RDNFS Ghost Walking Tours

Red Deer’s most thrilling ghost walking tour! Walk with us on the path to Truth and Reconciliation as we step into history.

We have specially curated this unique experience to speak to the authentic stories that originate in Red Deer. We have “spookified” the celebration of Red Deer's history to ensure this experience is not one you will forget.

The tours run for just under two hours as we walk the downtown streets and speak to historically significant sites. The tour is limited to a group of 20, and you must be 18 or over to attend. We begin the tours in ceremony and share teachings to honour our ancestors while grounding in our intentions.
